In my foundation year we were given a relaxed brief, so I followed my interest to make puppets and a short film. It was inspired by an illustrated poem I had given to my partner about a finch and a dove finding each other. I used paper mache for the heads and hand-made paper for their costumes. I like the control and emotions portrayed through puppeteering, and was proud of the song I wrote for the project.
